Friar John Bamman's Profession of Solemn Vows
On August 8, 2008, at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, Ohio, Friar John Bamman, OFM Conv., professed his solemn vows before a crowd of friars, family and friends.
This milestone in a friar’s life, marks the moment of his full incorporation into the fraternity of Friars, and is a life-long commitment. Friar John will continue his studies at St. Paul Divinity School in preparation for his ordination to the priesthood. He will remain at St. Joseph Cupertino Friary, and will assist with retreat programs as his class and ministry schedule allow.
