Men's Retreats

October 20-22, 2017 (Silent Retreat)

Silent Retreats create a space where it's natural to look within while deepening your relationship with the Lord.

This is a Silent Retreat. Due to the nature of this retreat, we ask retreatants to refrain from talking to anyone except their confessor or spiritual director. We start silence after Friday evening's Night Prayer and end silence after the last conference on Sunday. View the Men's Retreats brochure.

December 8-11, 2017

This is a regular retreat where everyone is encouraged to visit and share with others on retreat. View the Men's Retreats brochure.

2017 Retreat Theme: Find the Missing Peace - Pathways to Prayer

Our 2017 retreat theme will explore some of the different types of prayer, as well as some of the joys and challenges we all face in prayer.  We will discover that the pathways to prayer, though many, all flow from the same source: a deep desire to draw closer to the Lord.

Besides the retreat conferences, prayer experiences and liturgies, enjoy open time for confession, rest or 'one on one' spiritual direction while enjoying the retreat center trails and Chef Judy's excellent 'on site' cooking.

February 2-4, 2018

This is a regular retreat where everyone is encouraged to visit and share with others on retreat. View the Men's Retreats brochure.

March 29-31, 2018 - Men's Holy Week Retreat (Silent on Good Friday)

This retreat begins on Holy Thursday and concludes with brunch on Holy Saturday. It's a wonderful way to prepare for Easter in the beautiful and prayerful atmosphere of Franciscan retreats. View the Men's Holy Week Retreat brochure.

Things our retreatants say:

-  The liturgies were inspirational and the homilies added more meaning.  I'm so impressed by how down-to-earth Father Jim and Brother Bob are as they relate to us

-  The time here has been healing. Truly my spirit gives thanks to our God for this time

-  The retreat conferences were excellent. So much food for thought and nourishment for the soul.  Lots to take into prayer and on my daily faith walk.

-  The blend of scheduled time to free time is just right. It allows me to reflect, refresh and recharge my soul to put a little bounce in my step!
