We pray in a special way for those who might be called to be a Permanent   Deacon that they be open to your call. May we call forth those to serve the   Church in this special ministry, especially for..........whose name we   offer.    

Dear God, always keep our hearts and minds open to the gift of vocation. Inspire us to respond generously to your call as the Blessed Mother responded to her call, and help us to trust in your divine providence as she did. We ask this in the name of Christ the Lord. Amen.
